Psychotherapy focuses on diagnosing and treating mental health conditions, addressing emotional and psychological issues, and exploring past traumas. Coaching, on the other hand, is a collaborative and goal-oriented process that supports individuals in achieving personal and professional growth. Coaching is never a replacement for appropriate mental health care.
Life coaching sessions can cover a wide range of topics, including but not limited to self-discovery, relationships (dating, intimacy, and communication), self-acceptance, coming out, personal growth, career development, setting and achieving goals, managing stress and anxiety, and building resilience.
Because I recognizes the unique experiences and challenges faced by gay and bi-curious men coaching is tailored to meet their specific needs. Through active listening, powerful questioning, and providing practical tools, I support clients in achieving their desired outcomes.
The duration of the coaching process varies depending on individual goals and needs. While some clients may benefit from short-term focused coaching, others may prefer a longer-term coaching relationship. The frequency of sessions is typically determined collaboratively between the client and me, with most clients scheduling sessions once a week or bi-weekly for consistent progress and support.
Absolutely. Anything said in our sessions will be held in the strictest confidence. The only exception is if you are planning to hurt yourself or someone else.
